Horrified, Nessa realizes that marrying the rogue warrior will thrust her family into the heart of their clan’s longstanding conflict with the Danes of Luimnech. Nessa accepts her fate until tragedy presses her to make a desperate escape. Though her brash act costs her intended’s life. Now his family seeks revenge. Sanctuary among distant kindred proves short-lived and Nessa’s rescuers entangle her into their schemes. Rise of Betrayal is the heart and soul of the Tale of the Clans series. This book sparked four finished books (several more in planning stages) and a serial drama in the making, all in the span of 20 + years.
I treasure what God unearthed through the journey. Words are never adequate to describe all the growth He brought about in my life, let alone all He is doing and will do for others through this series.
If you have read Rise of Betrayal, you can be a part of that future outreach. Would you consider writing a review to help others decide if Rise of Betrayal is the book for them?
Writing a review isn’t rocket science. It can be as simple as stating whether you liked the book or not and why. No more than a sentence or two is needed. But, hey, if you want to write a dissertation, be my guest (just please let people know there’s spoilers in your review). If you feel you need some direction on reviews, here is a fantastic post by author, Crystal Caudill, that will demystify the process.
